these i mostly use for work (apart from MiniMeters which is of course audio) I don't run all of these apps at the same time - most of the time. just type in 2min32sec and watch it tick down and start flashing or beeping.ĭefinitely get Homebrew going - let's you install bunches of apps from commandline and just overall helps streamline the whole installation process. Super Easy Timer - just a timer, on the topbar or wherever you want. side-by-side type stuff, workspaces, find and replace across multiple files in the same folder, and this crazy thing that lets you type into multiple rows at the same time. Pixelmator Pro - the Photoshop competitor app, easy and quick. carbon-copy your iPhone to a new device, or update devices even if they don't have enough space to download and install the new iOS. IMazing - the amount of control over your iOS / iPadOS devices (starting from backup to more) is really a winner. MiniMeters - great for displaying audio input or audio output in various visual ways MindNode - the mindmap tool to use - really just pretty interface and friendly. Kaleidoscope - really nice side-by-side diff for showing differences between two documents (great for troubleshooting what went wrong with old and new versions of a file type stuff) great for sending "this is what happens when i click on something" type reports to people. LiceCAP - crappy name, but lets you record great animated gifs, and mouse-clicks and set the framerate at will. I wish I could buy more of their apps.Ĭhatgpt topbar is really useful - just click on it and ask a question. you can control/boost any app's output volume, or even pipe it through audioplugins to eq or limit like a zoom conversation. I click on a link in Mail or Slack or elsewhere, and get a dropdown menu (kinda) where you get to choose which browser you want to open it in. i find that when i type stuff into it, i tend to stare at it a while and then just go and do it so it's done. it's like a to-do-list, just do this one thing. I love " One Thing" - it just shows a bunch of text on the topbar. KeyboardMaestro is well worth the purchase, for sure, absolutely - you can create any kinds of macros for keyboard shortcuts, midi input, special mouse buttons, and they can have logic specifying how they work, and in which app they work and in which way. Hidden Bar is great for organizing topbar content so i get to hide the bits i don't really use. app is great for showing how hot or cold my laptop is running, and whether it has throttled. I use GrandPerspective to visualize (like a mosaic) what is going on on my harddrive. i'm constantly using ctrl-alt-enter to fit to screen. : 255.255.0.0Įthernet adapter vEthernet (raj-external-switch): Now, I am able to ping my guest vm from host but not able to ping host Now I have only the wifi network adapter and the virtual switchs in the network connections and now I have created a new virtual switch of type external. : Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network) : 192.168.1.1Įthernet adapter Bluetooth Network Connection:ĭescription. : VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet8 : 285233238Įthernet adapter VMware Network Adapter VMnet8:ĭescription. : VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet1 : 12-02-B5-56-86-E1Įthernet adapter VMware Network Adapter VMnet1:ĭescription. : Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter #6 Wireless LAN adapter Local Area Connection* 16:ĭescription. : Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter #5 Wireless LAN adapter Local Area Connection* 15:ĭescription. : VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter #3 : 10-02-B5-56-86-E1Įthernet adapter VirtualBox Host-Only Network #3:ĭescription. : DisabledĮthernet adapter vEthernet (raj-hyper-switch): : HybridĮthernet adapter vEthernet (Default Switch):ĭescription. so i thought of trying the internal switch, but with that I am now not even able to get the network initialized(no IPV4 initialization) If i used the external virtual switch, i get internet on both but loose the 2 way connectivity. I need to setup few server applications on that centOS vm and those will be communicating with the application running on my windows host eclipse(my development environment).
